Welcome to Solo Audiology and Hearing
We are an accredited locally owned, independent audiology clinic in Stirling WA
Your hearing is our only focus
About Us
Solo Audiology and Hearing is a local, family-owned audiology clinic based in Stirling, Western Australia. Our focus is simple: gold-standard genuine care first, personalised just for you. We prioritise extended appointment times to listen to you, understand your hearing concerns, and guide you clearly through your options.
As an independent audiology clinic, we are not owned by a hearing aid manufacturer. This allows us to recommend hearing solutions based purely on what's best for you, using modern hearing technology when needed.
We believe that you deserve to receive the individualised hearing support and advice that you need, completely tailored to your lifestyle and communication goals. We pride ourselves on providing an unmatched premium and boutique service.
Easily accessible and conveniently located in the popular Stirling Village shopping centre, we proudly support people in Stirling and the surrounding Perth suburbs to hear more clearly and confidently - to feel like part of the conversation. At Solo Audiology and Hearing, you're treated like our family, as an individual - not just another test result.

Daniel Gerace
Owner and Clinical Audiologist
BSc, MClinAud (Dist.), MAudA
Daniel Gerace is the Owner and Clinical Audiologist at Solo Audiology and Hearing. He founded the clinic with the understanding that hearing healthcare and rehabilitation requires personalisation, dedication, and time spent learning about his patients and their unique needs. Based on this, he made the primary goal of Solo Audiology to provide premium, old-fashioned-style audiological service.
After earning his Bachelor of Science (Exercise and Sports Science) and gaining experience in areas such as fitness, athletic performance, and cardiac technology, Daniel went on to complete his Master of Clinical Audiology with Distinction at the University of Western Australia. Shortly after this, he would find himself working in the audiological adult rehabilitation space as a Full Member and Accredited Audiologist with Audiology Australia. During his audiological studies and clinical work, Daniel was privileged to earn industry awards, such as the Sean Fitzpatrick Rural and Remote Scholarship from Audiology Australia and the Foundations for the Future Award from Oticon Australia.
Daniel has always had a keen interest in translational research, and during his clinical employment also undertook work as a research assistant in the topic of how audiologists can better support the various psychosocial needs of adults with hearing loss. It was during this work that he was honoured to co-author three peer-reviewed published journal articles in the International Journal of Audiology.
Following his clinical and research work, Daniel went on to work for the world's largest hearing device manufacturer, when he took on a new role as Territory Manager for Western Australia and South Australia. It was in this position that Daniel was able to gain an exclusive deep insight into hearing aids and their optimal programming, assistive listening devices, remote microphone systems, and more - becoming an expert on how to get the absolute best performance and programming out of hearing devices. During this time, he earned the company's Representative of the Year award twice in successive years.
He aims to now tie all of his clinical, research, and technological expertise together and bring this exclusively to his clients at Solo Audiology and Hearing.
In his personal life, Daniel enjoys being with his wife Emma and son Isaiah, and spending time together with their family and friends. With family roots stemming back to southern Italy, he derives his love of food, family, soccer, and gardening from his family's cultural values.
